Should I pay down principal on an investment property loan?

by Bruce
(Victoria, BC)

I have investment condo that is rented and generates positive cash flow after all expenses.

However, the payments on the loan are only covering the interest and nothing towards the principal.

I have been told that interest is tax deductible but would it be better to take some of the cash flow and apply to principal?
