For information only and to let you know a bit of my background...I have been investing in Real estate for over 5 years and own rental properties in Alberta and have read alot of books. The millionare real estate investor is one of the best books I have seen by Keller. Your website offers alot of information too. Ozzie Jurock/Rein/Reic/John T reed(Very opinionated and interesting if you have a moment to check his website)
Kiyosaki(not sure if he ever had a rich dad, evidence says no but he sure promotes alot). There are many many others too.I have read a fair bit of them too but am hoping you may be able to offer some insight.

Do you know anyone who is a excellent mentor with a great track record? I would be interested in that too depending on the fees.


What I am wondering is what do you think is the fastest method of making profit in Real Estate in Alberta.

The only one I think is fastest is to buy fix and sell which takes around 4-6 months whether it be a house or an apartment building(which seems to be in real demand in Edmonton right now)Competition with this is strong too.

Housing alerts has a very interesting plan but I am not sure how reliable they are or accurate. Yet market timing is a real key too.

If would be great to hear your excellent ideas as I am somewhat perplexed at this time... just about everyone is looking for the deal but the competition for that can be alot.

There is one thing that everyone needs in life. This thing is money. There are plenty of people in life that have love, friendship and companionship but lack money. It does take money to invest in real estate. When you buy a property, one of the first things that you will have to do is qualify a tenant. You might purchase a turnkey property that has a tenant attached. This tenant might not last and you will have to find another. Learning what is an income to rent ratio for investment property will help you learn how to financially qualify a tenant. The entire purpose of owning your property is to earn enough to cover your own expenses. What is left could be your profit for your hard work as an investor.

Of course, if you ask 5 people the best way to make money in property out in Alberta you'll get 5 different answers.

To us, the people you work with is more important than the strategy you use .... and that's why I would want to share this contact with you. He's a good guy and knows his stuff out that way.

There is a guy in the U.S. who apparently claims to be Robert's Rich Dad ... I have it on good authority that it's true but who knows for sure! :-)

We do love those Rich Dad books though!
